Tell Us About Your Business

Everything we need to design, write, and build your website. Take your time — your progress saves automatically on this device, so you can close this tab and pick up where you left off.

Estimated time: 20–30 minutes.

Before you start, have these handy:

  • logo
  • business hours & locations
  • list of services
  • reviews/testimonials
  • links to sites you like
Step 01 of 09 — Business Information
Step 01

Business Information

The foundation for everything we build.

This questionnaire is the foundation of your new website. The more detail you give us about your business, your customers, and your goals, the more precisely we can craft the design, content, and messaging. There are no wrong answers — write freely, and leave the rest to us.
How do customers interact with your business?
List all the trades you work in — feel free to add several (e.g. plumbing, heating, construction work).
In 2–3 sentences, what does your business do and who do you serve?
If you have an existing site, we’ll review it for context.
Step 02

What Makes You Different

This is the foundation of the communication across your entire new website.

The most compelling reason a customer picks you over anyone else.
Additional reasons customers choose you. One per line.
What do you do differently? Process, technology, pricing model, customer experience?
Imagine a potential customer asking “why you?” — what’s your best pitch?
Step 03

Your Positioning

First your customers and the problems you solve for them, then the competition. This helps us position you effectively.

The concrete problems and situations customers come to you with.
What are they missing? What are their needs and desires? What frustrates them that you solve?
Who are your main competitors? This helps us position your site effectively.
Step 04

Locations & Service Areas

Tell us about each business location or the areas you serve.

Step 05

Your Services & Products

List what you offer. If you sell products, don’t list each one separately — highlight your main categories (e.g. honey, brandy). Group them into categories if applicable.

Up to 5 high-level groupings. One per line.
Step 06

Your Team

Tell us about the people behind the business. Individual bios are optional but help personalize the site.

Step 07

Brand & Visual Identity

Share your brand assets and preferences. If you don’t have established guidelines, tell us what you like.

How should your business come across? Pick adjectives or describe the vibe.
What values do you promote, and what role does your brand play in your customers’ lives — how does it help them express themselves better?
Share URLs of websites whose look, feel, or layout you admire. Tell us what you like about each.
Upload your logo (PNG, SVG, or PDF preferred). If you don’t have one, let us know.
Style guides, brand boards, or other design files.
Step 08

Media & Credentials

Photos, testimonials, and trust signals we’ll weave into your site.

Upload photos of your business, team, work, or locations. High-resolution preferred.
Customer reviews and quotes we can feature on the website.
Step 09

Goals & Target Audience

What should the website achieve? Who are you trying to reach?

Describe your ideal customer — who are they, what do they need, what are they searching for?
What frustrations, problems, or gaps bring customers to you? You can build on what you described in the Positioning step.
What’s the #1 action you want visitors to take?
Which fields should the contact or quote form include?
How will you measure the website’s success?
Special requirements, integrations, pages you definitely want, features you’ve seen elsewhere?
